This week i spent most of my time in Colorado with the family. Any down time from skiing (i started early, and therefore, did not miss the boat) I spent checking digg.com or facebook. If i was watching TV it was the news, and was pretty surprised to see that Blagovich was the only thing worth talking about. He got more coverage than the president elect, and the snow that was inevitably coming. Digg.com is pretty much my news/entertainment source. Its a news website where users suggest blog articles, pictures, videos or other worthwhile things on the internet. I'm not a fan of network television, so the internet is my network tv refuge. One of the things i "dugg" was an article about the worlds first supervillian on cracked.com. Usually cracked does a pretty good job with humor writing. this wasn't the best, but it was still such a ridiculous story, it worked pretty well. When i was on the plane, i listened to my Zune (love that zune.) the albums i listened to were "Oracular Spectacular" by MGMT, "A weekend in the city" by Bloc Party, and "Elephant Eyelash" by Why?. I spent a lot of time on the website theonlythingtofearisfearitself.blogspot.com it's this crazy blog about weird fears people have, and it was fun to see people talk about riduclous fears they have. there were a few ones that i had grown out of since childhood like mirrors in very dark rooms used to be terrifying. not so much anymore, but it still scares a lot of people, turns out.
